The Friday of the St Leger Festival now splits its focus between one of the world’s oldest races, The Doncaster Cup, and the introduction of Gentleman’s Day. 
Matching the Ladies Day concept, the Lakeside Best Dressed Gentleman event will select 10 dapper finalists, all of whom will win Doncaster Racecourse tickets. The line up will then be whittled down to a final three before a champion is eventually crowned. The top spot prize includes overnight stays at both The Marriot Lingfield and in the Cotswolds, as well as annual memberships at both Doncaster Racecourse and Nuffield Health. Alongside this a trip to York racecourse has been provided by William Hill, with tickets for four people and hospitality in their Melrose Restaurant. In addition to this the winner will be able to drive a Mercedes for a weekend and visit Marsdens Brewery for a tour and a free hamper. The two runners up do not go home empty handed however, both winning a three course meal for two in the beautiful Old Weighing Room Restaurant and an annual gym membership plus two personal training sessions at Nuffield Health.
